Given that the substance seems to react to his father’s touch, this could be the symbiote, and by proxy, we could be seeing Harry Osborn as Venom instead of the usual Eddie Brock. Harry is clearly not well, most likely suffering from the disorder that afflicted his mother. This could foreshadow Norman’s descent into Green Goblin-hood, but the tar-like stringy black substance in the tank suggests an extra dynamic to his story. However, we got a glimpse after the game’s credits of him in a secret lab, looking over a green-tinted bio tube holding his son, Harry Osborn, who was thought to be on his jollies in Europe during the events of the game… so much for that! Norman Osborn is yet to prove himself to be a nefarious individual - just a bit of a posh git. There’s also the Osborns, whose story in this universe is much different than the typical comic book tales.
We know Peter's still alive, but his role in Spider-Man: Miles Morales isn't clear. Beyond that, Miles Morales has now been bitten by a mutated spider, which of course leads him to take on Peter Parker's responsibilities. Doc Ock is done for, but in jail, probably scheming with the Sinister Six. With Doc Ock defeated and the Devil’s Breath virus contained, the ending of the game sets up a few potential future narratives. *SPOILERS* (glaze over this section if you’re yet to beat Marvel’s Spider-Man!) What the Spider-Man PS4 ending could tell us about the Miles Morales story Just why so many bad guys are after Miles Morales is anyone's guess at this point, but we have a feeling there's even more than we know about at this point. We also know, thanks to some gameplay footage from Game Informer, that Rhino is yet another baddie seeking to take down Miles Morales in the upcoming Spider-Man game. Marvel and Insomniac have revealed one of the Spider-Man: Miles Morales villains to be Prowler, a villain that also appeared in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which you'll remember also stars Miles. If you watched the gameplay demo earlier, you'll know he comes across the Tinkerer at some point, but he's got more than one villain standing between him and the city's safety. Spider-Man: Miles Morales takes place in Harlem about a year after the events of Spider-Man PS4, starring the young and scrappy Miles finding his footing as the new webslinger in town.
